This article is based on the global climate ever warming and the development of carbon sink. It introduced the origin and the development of carbon sequestration forestry, illustrates the development of carbon sequestration forestry in China, and then defined it. After that it began to build the comprehensive evaluation indicator system about developing capability of carbon sequestration forestry: talked about the system of carbon sequestration forestry; listed basic principles of building it; set the structures of indicator system and choose the variables; and listed the indicator system about developing capability of carbon sequestration forestry. At last it explained some spots what we need know when using it.
