Abstract
Parallel operation of power converter modules offers a number of advantages over a single, high-power, centralized power supply. In this paper, parallel control for power factor correction (PFC) converters with novel integrated current sensing circuit, which senses input and output current for both PFC and parallel control without extra transformer, is proposed. Furthermore, both input and output current sharing strategies are comparatively researched on with precision and sensitivity analyzed. Prototypes are developed and experimental results are given to verify the analysis
