Abstract :
Aimed for the real-time requirement of Ethernet in embedded system, an agent-based system was presented. There were one managing node and a lot of control nodes in this new system. In order to reduce the real-time decline resulting from channel conflict, every control node was assigned a default priority and the control nodes with the same priority formed a group. Every control node communicated with each other and managing node based on the priority groups they belonged to. Master agent in managing node received different status data from every sub agent in the control nodes in different cycles. A dynamic adjustment model was set up in master agent. The status data gathered from control nodes were counted as inputs of the model; thus, through the model, the priorities of these control nodes could have dynamic adjustments. Network communication distributed channel resources by way of dynamic priorities, ensuring not only that there was less communication conflict among nodes at a certain moment, but also that adaptive adjustments of priorities could be achieved to improve transmission efficiency. The analysis and the simulation results demonstrate the method is correct and efficient
