Abstract :
A harmonic generator that can produce any favored voltage or current waveforms is presented and discussed in this paper. With designed configuration, dynamic programming controller, and load estimator section, is indicated that this system is suitable for evaluating effects of desired harmonics on different loads such as protection relays and metering devices. The load estimator is added to minimize the effects of load variations on the output waveforms. Simulation results in six different cases illustrate the capability of the generator
