Abstract :
In this paper we propose a new kernel that spans a family of cone-shaped kernels including the Born-Jordan and ZAM kernels. By proper choice of parameters, this new kernel gives better autoterm enhancement with cross-term suppression and finite-time support properties. Simulation results show the advantage of this new kernel in comparison with other known time-frequency distributions
