Abstract :
A new approach based on the wavelet transform and FFT for computing the convolution is presented in this paper. The efficiency and speed of this method are highly improved. Dynamic accuracy is also achieved by using the multiresolution decomposition of wavelet transform. As an example, the method is applied in the simulation of lossy transmission lines. The floating-point operations are reduced by seven times of the conventional method
