Abstract
Summary form only given. A uniform approach is proposed for the mutual-coupling analysis of conformal antennas for all the coordinate surfaces of the Eisenhart coordinating systems. Using this approach, along with the uniform theory of diffraction (UTD), several hitherto unsolved quadric surfaces like the general paraboloid of revolution can be conveniently tackled. The general approach consists of parameterizing the coordinate surface of interest in the appropriate coordinate system and carrying out a systematic global analysis, using the properties of differential geometry, to obtain all the geodesic parameters associated with surface-diffracted ray paths.<>
