  • Abstract
H synthesis methods based on state-space solution techniques provide powerful new tools for the design of linear time-invariant (LTI) control systems. In this paper, a hydroelectric generating speed system is designed on the basis of Veillete´s work (1989), and the control performance of the system is investigated. Simulation results show that the controllers designed by H method have more robust stability to power system than those designed by LQG approach
