Abstract
Summary form only given. We report here results on spectroscopic investigations of quantum dots in a new system, based on CdS and ZnSe heteroepitaxy grown by molecular beam methods. The lattice mismatch between CdSe and ZnSe is about 3%, a relatively modest value. Another unusual characteristic is that MBE grown CdS layers show a metastable crystallographic feature.
