Abstract
Personal communications services will be provided by new network capabilities. In addition to the substantial signaling network and related systems to provide personal communications services, there will be a need for services based on provision of a voice or data connection to a service-providing element, or service host. The author describes some possible functions of a service host and gives a description of one of several possible advanced intelligent network configurations to meet this need
