  • Abstract
    Based on the standards of the Geometric Product Specification and Verification-the new generation of GPS, a minimum zone mathematical model for evaluation of flatness error was given. The mathematical model of flatness error was first constructed by using Lp-norm on the basis of operations of the new generation of GPS. According to the characteristics of flatness error, an improved Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO) method based on genetic hybrid gene was applied to solve the mathematical model and the flatness error is obtained. Finally, an example verifies the feasibility and availability of the proposed method.
