Abstract :
Spring sorting system is the most important equipment of quality inspection in valve spring automatic production line. Based on embedded technology, a new spring sorting system composed of multiple controllers has been designed. In the system, each controller managed its related services, worked in parallel and coordinated through CAN-bus communication to ensure the system speed. The system defined the information transmission priority in CAN-bus according to the importance of information and developed communication protocol to achieve a high degree of real-time and reliability. The system, providing detailed debugging functionality, complete fault protection measures and a highly automated operation, has already been put into practical operation.
