Abstract :
In this paper, the authors discuss the suppression of differential mode noise induced by pulsed interference signals when ferrite cores are attached to a braided shield coaxial cable. They also suggest the locations of ferrite cores along the cable for the most effective suppression of differential mode noise induced by direct ESD, EFT/burst and surges. They experimentally investigated the effect of ferrite cores attachment in each
