  • Abstract
This paper focused on the effect of pretreatment municipal sludge by ultrasound, coagulant and ultrasound with flocculant. The water content, concentration of COD in the sludge liquor and granularity distribution of sludge were measured Experiments proved that ultrasound can adjust the structure of sludge, improve dehydration capability. After 20 min ultrasound, the best dehydration is 87.9%. Ultrasound increases burden of organic matter, solubility COD concentration increases to 91.2mg /L after pretreatment. The size of sludge particles change obviously and more particles distribute at easily dehydrated section of 10-10μm Ultrasound also change fractal dimension of sludge SEM image and rheological.
