Abstract :
Fire water monitor is one of the main equipment widely used in the fire fighting. A liquamatic fire water monitor with vavle-controlled cylinder device was designed. This fire water monitor head is controlled by a vavle-controlled cylinder device, which is driven by the water pressure and reciprocated by using mechanical feedback device. The hydraulic performance simulation of the liquamatic fire water monitor was completed in the Fluent kits. The simulation result shows that the hydraulic performance of the liquamatic fire monitor is feasible, and the structure is also reasonable. Finally, the experiment verifies that it can meet the requirements of the range in practice. The designed fire water monitor can be used in the situations that are beyond the reach of the firemen or the fire engines.
