  • Abstract
A non-restrictive and non-inverse monitoring system for bio-information during sleep is developed. The structure of detection device used in this system is flat type, so it can be easily placed on the bed for the bio-information measurement of human-being during sleep. Also, there are no electrodes to be pasted on the body when monitoring. Therefore, non-restrictive, non-inverse and unconscious measurement is realized, and comfort of the measurement is improved. Performance experiment and in vivo experiment are carried out. Experimental results show that the bio-information during sleep such as respiration, heart beat and motion can be easily measured. At the same time, snoring can also be measured for Sleep Apnea Syndrome (SAS) diagnosing. Experimental results also show that as long as the head is on the detection device, the bio-information can be measured ether lying face up or lying on side, and normal sleep does not be affected.
