Abstract :
In this paper a dynamic model of a photovoltaic and water heating system (PVT) is developed. The model, based on the energy transfer phenomenon, consists in a set of mathematical non linear equations governing the main components of the system. The model has been linearized and discretized and simulations are carried out to compare the non linear continuous model and the linear and discrete one. Experimental tests on a prototype of the PVT collector has been used to validate the model under the effect of water mass flow rate.
