Abstract :
The beam optical design of the He target beam line complex of the European Spallation Source is discussed. These beam lines join beams from two 1.334 GeV accumulator rings and deliver the beam to a beam dump, a 1 MW target, a 5 MW target, and a transmission muon target in the beam line to the 5 MW target
