Abstract :
Hong Kong and Singapore are two fascinating and vibrant economies in the world. Their electronics industries contribute significantly to their respective economies. This paper offers a longitudinal comparison between the duo´s development in their electronics industries. It shows that the duo´s electronics industries development had similar beginnings, but then diverged because of government actions and external circumstances. After years of divergence, it now appears that the two may develop along similar lines again
