Abstract :
Interaction of relativistic charged particles with a high intensity UHF electric field has been studied. The magnetic component of the field is taken equal to zero. It is shown that the interaction process has some peculiarities depending on the ratio between input particle energy and field intensity. In particular, an acceleration of part of a monoenergetic electron beam on account of the other part with simultaneous energy transfer from the beam to the field is possible
