Abstract :
In this paper we describe a solution that allows a single chip control for complex high voltage equipments used in energy quality applications. The control algorithm is designed in order to have an absorbed current with low harmonic content and a unity power factor. In many high voltage equipments power transistors are connected serially, thus their number is doubled. A microcontroller chip implements the entire equipment control, from general supervision to individual control of each power transistor.
