Abstract :
In order to recognize engine radiated noise in reverberant sound environments, a new method based on Statistical Energy Analysis was proposed to adopt. The noise identification model of compartment engine had been established, and then engine radiated noise levels, characters and contribution had been calculated and analyzed. The results showed that the cylinder body and oil tank are the main noise source of the cabin, it takes 80% as a whole. In conclusion, Statistical Energy Analysis is a valid method to recognize noise source in reverberant sound environments, since it takes sound reflection and sound superpose into account.
