Abstract
The UK Domestic PV Systems Field Trial comprises 31 housing projects spread across the country and involving a wide range of players in the housing sector. In total, it will include over 500 properties and at least 750 kWp of PV installations. Six projects have been installed to date, with most of the remainder scheduled for installation during 2002. The paper provides an overview of the Field Trial and the factors being investigated and discusses initial results on system design and construction and the saleability of the houses.
