Abstract
Electric Field Integral Equation (EFIE) is widely used for solving three dimensional electromagnetic scattering and radiation from complicated structures because it is effective for both open and closed surface. But the convergence of EFIE is not as good as the magnetic field integral equation. In this paper, an efficient iterative technique for accelerating the convergence of EFIE is introduced. By adding the principle value term of on (MFIE) operator into the EFIE operator, a well-conditioned improved EFIE operator is constructed. To achieve a reasonable accuracy, only several update steps for the current vector are required. Some numerical results of scattering and radiation problems are shown to demonstrate the validity of the present technique.
