Abstract
Power electronics has evolved to a point where building large-scale power electronics systems has become a reality. However, due to lack of standardized power electronics modules, it is difficult to reduce the costs of building power electronics systems via the system integration approach. In this paper, the input and output impedance of power electronics modules are selected as the objects for standardization at the system level, which can be used to ensure the system stability in the small-signal sense. The characteristics of I/O impedance are analyzed in detail. Further, the influence of three factors including the output power rating, the switching frequency and the control mode on the I/O impedance is discussed
