Abstract :
One of the technological concepts with significant contribution to the evolution of digital telecommunications in the last decades is the ISDN concept. ISDN protocols serve as the main basis for the development of new techniques and technologies for the implementation of complex, advanced digital based services over the existing telecommunications infrastructure. This paper proposes a generic ISDN based platform capable of supporting state of the art BRI and PRI applications incorporating all the latest network management and inter-working developments in the field
