Abstract :
In presence of grid voltage harmonics, an AC-DC-AC drive with conventional d,q-control experiences large grid current harmonics, and in the case of a minimized DC link capacitance, large DC link voltage harmonics. This paper details a control scheme that overcomes this problem and suppresses the effects of grid voltage harmonics on AC-DC-AC converters with minimized DC link capacitance through a multi-synchronous reference frame control structure
