Collective Intelligence has been playing an important role in various intelligent web applications. As one of applications, the created process of recommendation engine based on collaborative filtering is given in the paper,which takes a shopping website as an example, and combines user-based similarity and item-based similarity both on the basis of Jaccard similarity to make the recommendation list more reasonable.
