Abstract :
This paper considers adaptive interference cancellation in the presence of beam pointing error. Based on the analysis of the effect of beam pointing error on the performance of the eigenanalysis interference canceler(EIC), a modified interference canceler with robust capabilities is proposed. The proposed interference canceler can get the projected vector of the steering vector of the desired signal on the noise subspace as the weight vector. Theoretical analysis indicates that this interference canceler is more robust to beam pointing error than the EIC. The performance of this interference canceler is examined via simulations.
