Abstract
Many industries have recently moved their production plants to their neighboring cities/countries that have lower production cost. However, one major problem with such industrial relocation is that the production site may lack enough people with proper skills and expert knowledge to manage and maintain the production systems. One solution to such problem is to have remote diagnosis and consultation, where engineers at the central office can help to identify the problems and guide the technicians at the production site to solve the problems. In this paper, a system architecture, together with the network bandwidth and protocol requirements are presented
