Abstract
Summary form only given. Solitons can be bright or dark, temporal or spatial. Until now, several possibilities were observed. Bi-dimensional spatial solitonic waves have also been reported. We present the first observation, to our knowledge, of a spatiotemporal soliton-like wave in the Kerr medium of an AlGaAs slab optical waveguide.
