Abstract :
Based on A. N. Tikhonov´s regularisation method the authors have developed a procedure for determining the multilayered semiconducting medium parameters for surface impedance frequency dependence of the ground. The interpretations for different types of the uppermost medium in a wide range of electromagnetic waves (from several Hz to dozens of MHz) are considered. The procedure has proved to be effective at solving practical problems of geoelectromagnetics connected with stratified media. Many problems of propagation and excitation of EM waves, shielding and grounding are connected with calculations of electromagnetic characteristics of stratified media. The complexity of solving inverse electrodynamic problems consists in the fact that they are ill-posed, as a rule. Therefore, while interpreting the experimental data it is necessary to work out stable algorithms. The authors consider the algorithm for solving the inverse problem for a multilayered semiconducting medium meeting impedance boundary conditions
