Abstract :
The automatic glossiness and colour difference discrimination system has been developed by using both the fibre photoelectric sensor and CCD color imager adapted to the light and colour sensation of dark eyes. The colour stimuli are constructed by the achromatic and chromatic colours. The relations of the hue, chroma and lightness in both the achromatic and chromatic colours used in the system are considered; the relations are shown by the characteristic linear function in RGB. The combination ratio of RGB for the colour matching is then quantified by the system incorporated in the data of relations of the chroma and lightness compared with the wavelength of hue
