Abstract
A new, efficient and original space vector based PWM strategy is proposed. The strategy could be applied to a multilevel inverter with any number of levels. Moreover, the number of computations will remain the same for any number of levels, and is well suited to be implemented in any commercially available digital signal processor using the same facilities as for a two-level inverter. Simulation results are shown to verify the proposed modulation strategy
