Abstract :
This paper represented an integrated product information model, based on the characteristic of the boiler conceptual design. It defined “structure module” to organize product information in both functional and physical domain in a multilevel manner. The mapping of “function-structure” was built at different levels, and was solved by using the cycle of “structure assumption - performance analysis - structural adjustment”. It also provided detailed descriptions of the parametric for basic structure and structure module. At last, the rapid design of conventional products was achieved based on the product case base.
