            Abstract : 
This paper presents a new control method for sensorless brushless DC motor. By detecting the voltage on the sample resistance in the DC link, the rotor´s position can be determined when the motor stand still. Then through a specified speed-up method, the rotor will accelerate to a certain speed that the conventional back-EMF method can work properly. An experiment based on the brushless DC motor in air-conditioner using in fuel cell vehicle is carried out to validate it.
