Abstract :
Holographic synthetic aperture radar (HSAR) images of a hexagonal polystyrene cylinder are presented. Two different measurement geometries have been examined: 1) frequency diversity with target azimuthal diversity and 2) frequency diversity with receiver azimuthal diversity. The first geometry is very similar to focused inverse synthetic aperture radar (ISAR) imaging. The second geometry is nonconventional in that only a single set of equivalent sources are illuminated on the target. Both vv and hh polarized results are shown. All measurements were performed at waterline
