Abstract :
One of the main problems which limit the trains run at a higher speed is the vibration of the contact force between the pantograph and the catenary. In this paper, three kinds of stiffness curves are fitted by using the non-linear least square method and a unified fitting formula is presented. Based on this, a 3-DOF time-variant model of the pantograph / catenary is established, with optimal control strategy, the contact force under different train speeds is controlled, the simulations show that this method can reduce the fluctuations of the contact force, the controller is effective.
