Abstract
In many branches of the human activity is actual extraction of the information carried by signals. At the yielding of the information the essential role plays the processing of the signal. The developing of the algorithm of signal processing follow the act of specifying - a detailed, itemized descriptions of the signal, named specification of the algorithm. Successful specification can be done when a mathematical model of the signal is used. The model is a mathematical object, reflecting in the compressed, constructive form properties of the phenomena to be studied essential for a solving certain problems. Different problems generate models, then the classification of models is necessary. In this contribution on the base of the energy theory are stated principles of the classification of the stochastic signal. False classes stated in the literature are specified.
