Abstract
The chirp-based multicarrier system, which employs the chirp-type basis functions as transmission signal set, has been recently proposed in some literatures to improve the transmission performance in the time-varying channel environment. This paper evaluates the performance of chirp based multicarrier system in the channel with narrowband interference. It is shown by analytical and simulation results that the chirp-based multicarrier system can effectively suppress narrowband interference and the advantage is due to the Chirp Spread Spectrum (CSS).
