Abstract :
To solve the absence of considering QoS in Ad hoc network handover research, the method of Grey Relational Analysis (GRA) was proposed to decide the optimal target handover node. Based on this, the cross-layer handover method was studied in this paper. The Simulation results show that the cross-layer handover method based on GRA can guarantee the handover success rate, decrease the handover latency and overhead and additionally be able to improve the network performance to meet the QoS demand for user service effectively.
