Abstract :
The results of multi-wavelength lidar investigating atmospheric aerosol parameters over background and industrial regions have been presented. Technical characteristics of the lidar station are described. The mean profiles of aerosol extinction and backscatter coefficient are compared with calculated ones for existing optical models of the atmosphere. Statistical characteristics of fluctuations of atmospheric optical parameters at various altitudes are estimated
