Abstract
In this article description of satellite navigations system GPS and examples how it can be used are given. GPS (Global Positioning System) is modern very quickly developing satellite navigation system using special satellite signals. It passes navigational coordinates in figure (X, Y, Z) and very precise time UTC (Universal Time Coordinated).
