Abstract
Summary form only given. We present investigations on Bloch oscillations in strain-balanced InGaAs(P)/InGaAs(P) superlattices grown by metal-organic chemical vapour deposition (MOCVD). The optical wavelengths of the excitonic transitions can be tuned to wavelengths around 1.55 /spl mu/m in InGaAs(P) based superlattices, thus enabling-in principle-the excitation with femtosecond fibre lasers.
