Abstract :
Collaboration between designers in different disciplines is an increasingly important aspect for the designing of complex objects and systems. Modern CAD systems have possibilities to handle this complexity, but regular modelling and designing technology supports only single product model and single user. This paper presents an analysis of different solutions for developing a real-time collaborative design environment platform for computer-aided design (CAD) systems.
