Abstract
A microcomputer measuring unit for the starting torque of micromotors is presented. The measuring result on a claw pole permanent-magnet synchronous motor shows that, compared with the traditional platform scale method, this unit possesses the following advantages: it has high accuracy and high speed in measuring; it is easy to operate; it can provide the data in graphics and tables; and it has a simple structure. Therefore, it has practical value in industrial application
