Abstract :
This article proposes a new coding method of moving objects in the wavelet domain. This new method combines the techniques of object division in the wavelet domain and object-based coding of variable tree size together. The fractal match makes use of the high relativity among the coefficients of the interframe tree, limits the domain wavelet tree in the same level and reduces the number of trees which needs to be seeked to match by marking the nodes out of the object boundary in the corresponding position of the reference frame. This method not only saves time for the fractal coding, but also improves the ratio of the compression.
