Abstract :
Ground source heat pump is a highly efficient, renewable energy technology for space heating and cooling. Ground source heat pump system (GSHPS) is receiving increasing interest because of their potential to reduce primary energy consumption and thus reduce emissions of greenhouse gases. The principiumn and characteristics of GSHPS including earth-energy and heat pump systems is introduced in this paper. Such geotechnical engineering technology as engineering drilling, thermal physical characteristic of ground layer, grouting engineering are also very important in the design and application of the GSHPS.
