  • Abstract
In this paper, a testing and controlling system is designed for the test rig of gas turbine combustor by using VXi bus and PLC technology. The system is composed of two subsystems: the data acquisition subsystem and the control subsystem. The data acquisition subsystem is based on VXi bus. It is designed to measure, store, analyse and display the parameters from the test rig, such as temperature, pressure, and flow rate. The control subsystem based on PLC technology is to control the actuators, such as regulator, electromagnetic valve and inverter. The two subsystems are integrated by a industrial computer. Compared with the traditional measurement and control method, the new method improved the efficiency of development and the measurement accuracy.
