  • Abstract
The architecture of a prototyping DSP board, based on a logic cell array, is described. Methods of implementing filter structures are presented, with an emphasis on recursive second-order structures and high performance FIR filters, using the LCA as a target device. Filter designs are configured and implemented without the cost and time associated with other ASIC approaches. An efficiency measure is defined to assess various filter implementations
